Image Gallery
The Image Gallery feature in CalmView showcases particular Calm records with images, selected by you. The Image Gallery page contains; a name in the browser tab, a title, an optional header and footer, a label for the drop-down box (choice of display styles) and a link to the full record view for each record, all of which can be customised. Here is an example Image Gallery page. Please note: the example screen will open a new window, when you have finished and wish to return to this page, use the cross in the top right corner to close the window.
Page Name
The page name is shown in the browser's tab for the window in which CalmView is displayed, in the above example the page name is "CalmView:
Image Gallery". To change this, enter your new
text in the Page Name field and click the button.
Title
As in the example above, the Image Gallery page contains a heading with the default text "Image
Gallery". To change this, enter your new text in the
Title field and click the
button.
Page Header
By default there is no header on the Image Gallery page.
To add one, press the key (in
the Page Header field) to directly edit/enter text,
click on the
button, then the
button.
When running CalmView, the header will appear above the records being showcased and just below
the Title.
Page Footer
By default there is no footer on the Image Gallery page. To add one, press the
key (in the Page Footer field) to directly edit/enter text, click on the
button,
then the
button. When running CalmView, the
footer will appear beneath the records being showcased.
View Label
As shown in the example above, the Image Gallery page has a drop-down box with a choice of views i.e. List or Gallery.
The label for this view drop-down box defaults to "View". To change this, enter your new text in the View Label field and
click the button.
Link Text
As in the example above, each record showcased on the Image Gallery page
contains a link button. When the button is clicked the full record view is shown. The default text on this
button is "View Record". To change this, enter
your new text in the Link Text field and click the
button.
