Change Password

The Change Password page requests the old (existing) password and a new password, with another entry box to confirm the new password. It is displayed when the 'Change Password' link has been clicked (when a user is logged in). The Change Password page contains; a name in the browser tab, an optional header and footer, and a breadcrumb title, all of which can be customised.

Here is an example Change Password page in CalmView. Please note: the example screen will open a new window, when you have finished and wish to return to this page, use the cross in the top right corner to close the window.

The following options are customised using the Change Password option in the Pages section of the Configurator. Fields highlighted in red in the Configurator are mandatory.

Please note: The Top pager visible and Bottom pager visible options shown in this part of the Configurator are not used.

The page name is shown in the browser's tab for the window in which CalmView is displayed, in the above example the page name is "CalmView: Change Password". To change this, enter your new text in the Page Name field and click the Save button.

To add your own header, press the Edit key (in the Page Header field) to directly edit/enter text, click on the OK button, then the Save button. When running CalmView, the header will appear underneath the breadcrumb and above the password entry boxes.

By default the footer on the Change Password page is 'Page Footer goes here'. To add your own footer, press the Edit key (in the Page Footer field) to directly edit/enter text, click on the OK button, then the Save button. When running CalmView, the footer will appear beneath the password entry boxes and Update button.
