Minimum Requirements

These are the minimum requirements for each of the three machines/environments involved in installing CalmView and building your CalmView website.

Please note: These setups are needed regardless of whether you are installing CalmView yourselves or you are preparing for Axiell to install for you.

Live Calm Server

  • The live server must be running version 11.0 or above of Calm.

Development Environment

  • The development environment needs to have as an operating system Windows 7 Pro or above.
  • Microsoft Internet Information Services manager (IIS) 6 or above with the URL Rewrite module.
  • .net 4.0 framework.
  • A modern internet browser updated to its latest version.
  • You will need full administrator rights to this machine, so you can edit the contents of the Calm and CalmView files that will be stored here.

Public-facing Server

  • The public-facing server needs to have Windows 2008 Server or above.
  • Microsoft Internet Information Services manager (IIS) 6 or above with the URL Rewrite module. (When using IIS7 or above it is essential to load the IIS6 compatible infrastructure.)
  • .net 4.0 framework.

Connections

  • TCP ports 2143, 2144, and 2145 must be open between the Calm server and the server(s) running CalmView to allow them to communicate (outbound on the CalmView server and inbound on the Calm server).
