(note: The Museo Picasso Barcelona opened 9.3. 1963 to a last minute withdrawal of official support from the Franco regime in Spain- it appears that Picasso's name was removed from its title. In 1970, however, with Picasso's sanction, his family in Barcelona donated a large amount of his early art to the Museum. A further donation was made in 1980- see other Item for that)
