Note: Miró-Theatre of Dreams, a
film for BBC Television 'Omnibus' directed by Robin Lough, centred on Miró's work with the Claca, (particularly Mori el Merma, an attack on Franco) but also covered his career in general. It was presented by Roland Penrose, who interviewed Miró in his Palma de Mallorca studio in the film, and helped organise the filming generally. Produced by Christopher Martin. Planning began in 1977 and Roland Penrose visited Barcelona to assist this in Dec. 1977, and also for the filming which was done in Feb. 1978. The press viewing was Nov.1978. Filming also occurred at Fondation Maeght. These papers were mainly from 3 files in Study,(T2).They have been sorted into date order as far as possible, and photocopies of correspondence between Miró and RP substituted for the originals, which are now in Miró Corresp.
