Description | Handwritten journal and letters between Joseph and Edmund Peckover from the 17th and 18th centuries and transcribed by Jonathan and Algernon Peckover in the 1820s.The journal (227 p.) is a testimony from the monthly meeting of Wells in Norfolk concerning Edmund Peckover and his accomplishments. In the second part of the book, the letters between Joseph and Edmund (126 p.) concerning people they know in the United States. There is a loose letter inserted at the back of the book entitled 'A Collection of Testimonies' concerning several 'ministers of the gospel' amongst the Quakers. |
