Field

A record is divided into items, for instance Author and Title within a book record. These items are called fields and each usually appears as one line, although some fields are shorter than one line and some can hold up to 64,000 characters. For a list containing the name and attributes of every field available in each database, see the complete field lists.


Folder

A named area of a disk containing files or further subfolders; folder names are separated by backslashes (\).
