On 20 May 1478, Queen Elizabeth Woodville granted the fee farm of the town of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, to the Dean and Canons of Windsor ( D & C ). On the same day, she also granted the manor of Bassetsbury, Wycombe, to the D & C.
