The manor of Bentfield Bury, Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex, was conveyed to the Dean and Canons of Windsor ( D & C ) by Richard, duke of Gloucester, on 4 February 1480. The manors of Knapton, Norfolk and Chelsworth, Suffolk, were conveyed to the D & C at the same time.
