Places authority file

The place authority file database enables you to create hierarchical place records in order to link them to relevant records in your catalogue database. Archives and Local Studies Libraries link catalogue records to authority files using the Authorities button in the side button strip and Museums use the Associated button in the side button strip.

The Places menu (shown below) is accessed from the Authorities Menu.
