Print Loan Tickets

Loan tickets will be printed on the default printer you have set up.

Please note:
Printing a ticket does not delete the loan record from the database. Records will remain in the loans database until they are deleted by you or purged by an Administrator.

Amending which fields are shown on a loan ticket

By default, the following fields are shown on a loan ticket: AltRefNo, RefNo, Title, Created, TimePrinted, DateIssued, AccessConditions, Location, UserName, UserId, ID, Creator and DateDue.
It is possible to change these fields by editing a file called ArchiveLoansTicketPrinting.tcl, found in the command file folder, usually dscribe/archive/cmd.
Please note: Take care whilst editing this file, as missing characters could cause Calm to stop working. The safest way to edit the file, is to copy a line, paste it in the position you require and then overwrite the field name with your new field, this will ensure that the syntax is maintained.

Automatic Printing

There is an 'Autoprint' facility available. To activate it, click on the 'Autoprint' shortcut in the Axiell/Calm program group. You will also need to set the "minutes between checking for loans" parameter in Administration Menu, Parameters Menu, Loan Parameters. Each time the number of minutes set has passed, Calm checks the archive loans database for any items requested but not issued during that period. All items that fall into this category will be automatically issued and slips sent to a designated printer. This is particularly useful where users are doing self requests through the document ordering facility in CalmView.

Manual Printing

With an archives loan record on screen, click on Manual Tickets in the button strip. This prints ALL loan tickets for a chosen day, including any tickets that have already been printed.
