Add Above
The Add Above facility is available under the
button in the
Button Strip. There is an alternative (and different) Add Above function available from the
Tree Menu.
If there is not a real record associated with the parent of the selected record (as implied by the RefNo) this facility will create a record with the appropriate RefNo. Note that a warning message will be returned if a record already exists for the parent RefNo. Simply click OK to return to the catalogue screen.

For example, if you select a record with RefNo=ABC/2903 and choose Add Above, Calm will clone the existing record and give it a RefNo one level above the current RefNo, in this case RefNo=ABC.
