Sample workflows
This section of the guide is intended as an introduction to the basics of Calm. This manual contains specific sections for all the databases within Calm however the areas mentioned here are those that you are most likely to use when you first start working with Calm.
We have provided 3 sections for Archives, Local Studies Libraries and Museums which contain sample “workflows” you may wish to follow to create example records to help you get a feel for Calm and the ways in which you can work.
Please note that these examples are not prescriptive, you may decide to use some or all of the aspects of the system mentioned here, or you may focus on other areas.
The examples deal with the basic stages of collection management, and refer you to other sections of the guide where step-by-step instructions are given.
