The following default record type is provided:
Location. This
sample shows the default fields supplied with Calm in the default order. Please
note: the sample record will open a new window, when you have
finished and wish to return to this page, use the cross in the top right corner
to close the window.
There are several ways in which you may customise the default Calm record type.
For example, you can
add or remove fields
from the record type or
change the order in which
fields are displayed
in the template using the Admin program.
The following is a list of all fields available for the Locations database; this
includes the fields that are provided as part of the default template plus a
pool of additional fields which you may use to customise the record type.

Number field The size of the location i.e. total space available to store items. You will receive an error message if you try to save a Location record with more than one Capacity field, if the One-per-record validation option is set in the Record drop down menu. |

Line of text field The units for the size of the location. You will receive an error message if you try to save a Location record with more than one CapacityType field, if the One-per-record validation option is set in the Record drop down menu. |

Wrapped text field The condition of this location, describing any factors that may affect which items can be stored here. |

| LocationReference | DO NOT DELETE Identifier field A unique number, the next available number is automatically assigned from the Admin program. This field will automatically be filled with a number, when a new record is created. This is a mandatory field. This field is the link to the Catalogue database. You will receive an error message if you try to save a Location record with more than one LocationReference field, if the One-per-record validation option is set in the Record drop down menu. |
