Welcome to the online catalogue for BT Archives. From here you can search through our catalogued entries for documents, books, objects, images and films on subjects spanning the development of telecommunications, from the birth of the electric telegraph in the 1830s to the explosion of the internet and the rise of competition. The catalogue will be updated regularly with descriptions of additional material.
In January 2012 BT Archives, Coventry University and The National Archives launched New Connections - a JISC funded project to digitise 500,000 items from the history of communications.
During this project (due for completion in July 2013) access to some BT Archives items will necessarily be restricted on occasion.
