Web Statistics
Calmview records statistical information to help you analyse use of your website.
Statistics are recorded once in every 24 hour period and include the number of hits per Calm database, cross-database searching patterns, the number of times full catalogue records are accessed and details of failed connections.
Calmview statistics are represented on a monthly basis and where meaningful, the figures are represented per Calm database and in graphical form. To access web statistics on the Calmview machine:
- From the Windows Start menu, navigate to the Axiell program group.
- Select Calm, then Calmview, followed by Stats
- The 'Stats package' opens at the User analysis page
- Click the link for the appropriate month
- Links are provided for the various statistics, click the name of the statistic you wish to view, for example, DataSource Hits for the number of times each Calm database has been accessed.
The daily collation of statistics is scheduled as a task in Windows. By default statistics are collated at 23.55 every day. If your Calmview machine is likely to be switched off at this time, this setting may be altered using Windows Task Scheduler.
