Glossary

Boolean - A logical data type, named after the English mathematician and philosopher George Boole. Examples of boolean operators are AND, NOT, OR.

Multimedia/Graphics Fields - Multimedia and graphics fields enable you to link diverse types of media, such as images, sound files, PDF documents and video files to your Calm records. Supported media types in Calm include:
Image Formats: TIFF, JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, Photoshop PSD
Audio formats: MP3, OGG Vorbis, Windows Media Audio (WMA), MIDI, WAV, Real Audio, Flac Lossless, Monkey’s Audio Lossless (APE).
Video formats: Real Media, Windows Media Video (WMV), AVI,  Flash Video (FLV)
Application formats: PDF, ZIP, RAR, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word

Hexadecimal RGB value - Every colour displayed by computers, such as those on your Calmview pages, is made up of a combination of red, green and blue in various proportions. The unique RGB combination for a particular colour is expressed as a six-digit alphanumeric value in hexadecimal.

Tooltip - When a user hovers the cursor/mouse pointer over an item, without clicking it, a small box of text called a tooltip appears with supplementary information regarding the item.
