Two Registry subtrees are used by DScribe, as shown below. For a standalone configuration, the workstation should contain both subtrees.
Client registry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DS contains per-user preferences.
Server registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\DS contains user-independent information about the DScribe applications and databases stored on this machine.
