Mandatory Fields

Certain fields in record types must be completed in order to allow Calm to work properly, such as the RefNo field in archive catalogue records. These fields have been made mandatory. Calm will produce an error message if you try to save a record in which a mandatory field is empty, if the validation options are set in the Record drop-down menu. It is also possible for you to define additional fields as mandatory using the Admin program.
